Michael Broomhead was senior reporter for Derby World until August 2023. After graduating from university, Michael started his career at the Buxton Advertiser before moving to the Chesterfield-based Derbyshire Times. He also worked for several daily titles, including the Sheffield Star, and I spent a year working in content editor roles at NottinghamshireLive, WalesOnline and HullLive.
