Kimberley deputy mayor among those picking up prizes on town bug trail
This year’s Kimberley Bug Trail is now underway in the town and organisers have been encouraging people to take part and bag themselves some prizes.
Among those visiting the local businesses taking part in the trail was Coun Sam Boneham, deputy mayor of Kimberley, and his family.

Coun Boneham said " The kids really enjoyed wandering around Kimberley, discovering fascinating facts about bugs.
"We also picked up some great gifts from Ziggy's Emporium and Coasteroo and rewarded ourselves to a delicious chippy lunch from Olde English Chippy.
“It was really good to see that Poundstretcher had already run out of their allocation of leaflets – we dropped some more off to them so more families can enjoy this trail.
"Rumbletums Cafe and Dandelion were very busy too with guests enjoying their food and beverages which is also great to see.
“This trail is running for the next few months, subject to availability of prizes, so be sure to collect your trail map from any of the above businesses and Bee's Flowers, who are also taking part in the trail."
Successfully completing the trail wins each participant four points, which can be exchanged for a variety of prizes, valued at different point values.
Bug Trail Themed Prizes include a glass chopping board, a mouse mat, mugs, a trolley coin key ring and Coasters individually branded with a variety of different bug images.
Coun Boneham also thanked all the businesses and families taking part for their involvement.
