The littering incident was witnessed by a Bolsover District Council Enforcement Officer whilst on a patrol in Shiners Way, also South Normanton.

A Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) check was carried out to identify the registered keeper of the vehicle, following the incident on October 13, and the FPN was issued via post.

Council chiefs say they have a zero tolerance approach to littering and will issue an £150 (reduced to £100 on early payment) FPN to anyone who is witnessed littering.
