Regional independent broadband provider, Connect Fibre, has confirmed the launch of super-speed 5,000Mbps broadband across its full fibre network, bringing the fastest broadband speeds to its communities, and boosting the digital economy.

Guilhem Poussot, Chief Commercial Officer, Connect Fibre said: "On the back of being named Broadband Provider of the Year 2026, we are now thrilled to deliver the fastest speeds available to our communities.

“As we deliver this scale of connectivity we are giving homes and businesses access to world-class digital capabilities. It’s important to us to build and offer the services that we need for tomorrow, rather than just for today..”

Connect Fibre has been operating in the region since 2019, helping to deliver the UK government’s BDUK’s Project Gigabit.
