Enjoy the full English with NSO in Albert Hall performance

Nottingham Symphony Orchestra will bring their busy and successful 2015-2016 season to a close this Saturday with a concert at the city's Albert Hall venue.

The concert features works by three English composers, two of whom are major names around the world while the other was a talented local man who actually founded the orchestra back in the 30s.

The first half features Elgar’s entertaining and substantial concert opener In The South, inspired by a trip the composer made to Italy.

This is followed by Walter ‘Gaze’ Cooper’s Oboe Concertino, with NSO’s Victoria Price as the soloist.

The second half of the concert features Vaughan Williams’s evocative and multi-faceted A London Symphony.
