There were no treats to be enjoyed for the Stags fans during this Halloween derby day fixture.
A flat-looking Mansfield Town performance ended in their first league defeat at the One Call Stadium since February, sending Notts County home with the bragging rights.
It was the first Nottinghamshire Derby since 2024 and a big win for the Magpies, who had lost their last six league visits to Mansfield.
The result ends Stags’ unbeaten run and provides a lot of food for thought ahead of their away trip to Wigan next week.

Came on for the final 15 minutes to try and inject some creativity into the game but couldn't get Stags back into it. Created an opportunity late on but it didn't materialise for Stags. Photo: UGC
