There were no treats to be enjoyed for the Stags fans during this Halloween derby day fixture.
A flat-looking Mansfield Town performance ended in their first league defeat at the One Call Stadium since February, sending Notts County home with the bragging rights.
It was the first Nottinghamshire Derby since 2024 and a big win for the Magpies, who had lost their last six league visits to Mansfield.
The result ends Stags’ unbeaten run and provides a lot of food for thought ahead of their away trip to Wigan next week.

1. Liam Roberts
Put in some good saves throughout the match, including one at 51 minutes during a chaotic spell of County attacks under a fair bit of pressure. Couldn't have done anything about the first goal given the quality of it and wasn't quick enough to respond to the error for the second. Will be disappointed with the goals conceded but overall didn't really do much wrong in a personal performance. Photo: UGC

2. Jordan Bowery
Put in some good blocks and clearances and carried some promising balls forward to try and create opportunities. However, he did give the ball away with a poor pass under no pressure after a throw-in situation and went in the book in the second half for a clumsy foul. Was part of an overall nervous-looking backline that couldn't keep County penned in. Photo: UGC

3. Deji Oshilaja
Didn't look himself today and seemed unsure on what to do at times when County put the pressure on. Stags' defence overall didn't look sharp enough from the start and they often found themselves frantically back-pedalling to shut down attacks. Photo: UGC

4. Ryan Sweeney
Started looking pretty off the mark with some clumsy decisions, including a mis-kicked clearance attempt but grew into the game later in the first half and looked a lot stronger as he used his strength to hold players off and shut chances down. The second half saw a dip in Stags' defence as a whole and they simply didn't look comfortable dealing with anything, from keeping County at bay to getting a goal back. Photo: UGC
