James Perch says Bradford City will be 'bang at it' when they face Mansfield Town this afternoon.

The Stags summer signing played under the Bantams boss at Scunthorpe United, and has offered an insight into what his teammates can expect from this afternoon's League Two clash.

"It'll be a tough test," Perch said.

"I played under Stuart McCall so I know what he's about.

"He'll have his team organised and they'll be bang at it - similar to most sides in League Two.

"We've got to be ready for what they bring."

Town are still looking for their first win of the season, but Perch doesn't believe the Stags' performances are being reflected in their points haul.

"I think it's been frustrating, definitely with some of the results we've had," he said.

"I think we've deserved more in a couple of the games.

"A couple of decisions have gone against us and maybe a bit of luck. Other than that we've done alright.

"It's frustrating. We're coming in after games thinking we've done enough to win it and then we've got one point or no points, like against Newport.

"As a group we're frustrated but we know in our dressing room that we're good enough and results will come.

"Hopefully, it'll turn (today), we've been working hard since I came in. It's not a lack of effort. Once we get that first win we'll find ourselves on a bit of a roll."

Today’s clash at One Call Stadium kicks off at 3pm.
