Mansfield Town charity shirts raise almost £4,000

Mansfield Town have donated £3,800 to King’s Mill Hospital from sales of the Stags’ new charity shirt.

The funds will be used towards the purchase of patient monitors to use within the Endoscopy Unit at the hospital in Mansfield.

Stags launched their limited-edition charity shirt in July of this year as a thank you to NHS staff for their continuing hard work and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The special-edition shirt will be worn by the first team at a home fixture this season.

Commercial manager Paul Nyland said: “It’s heart-warming to know that the money raised from sales of our charity shirt will be directed towards the purchase of equipment at our local hospital.

“King’s Mill were absolutely delighted to learn that our supporters had bought our new charity shirts en masse and by doing so have raised funds for new patient monitors, equipment recommended by the hospital.

“We thank our supporters for their generosity and our gratitude is extended to everyone at King’s Mill for their dedication throughout this pandemic.”
