Here come the mods! The Goldhawks bring The Ultimate Mod Revue to Mansfield
Get ready to relive the soundtrack of a generation as The Goldhawks bring a high-energy celebration of Mod music to Mansfield Palace Theatre.
From The Who and Small Faces to The Jam and Ocean Colour Scene, The Ultimate Mod Revue promises a night packed with iconic anthems, unforgettable riffs and plenty of opportunities to sing your heart out.
Presented by the team behind the acclaimed Quadrophenia – The Album Live! and Tommy productions, this electrifying show celebrates the music that defined a movement and continues to inspire generations of music lovers.
First launched in 2025, The Ultimate Mod Revue is performed by five accomplished musicians who bring more than a century of combined touring and recording experience to the stage.
Together, they recreate the distinctive sounds, energy and attitude of the Mod scene, with authentic guitars, crunching Hammond organ sounds and even a touch of brass, all accompanied by spectacular bespoke film projections that transport audiences back to the glory days.
While MOD culture came to prominence in the early 1960s, its musical influence has continued to evolve across the decades.
The show captures that rich history with a setlist spanning legendary names including The Who, The Kinks, The Spencer Davis Group, Booker T. and the M.G.’s, The Action, The Jam and Ocean Colour Scene.
Frontman DP explained: “Whenever you are paying tribute to an artist or genre through music, we've learned that it's so important to include the hits, the big numbers that millions of people remember dancing to, meeting their partners to; the soundtrack to their life-defining moments.
“With the MOD Revue, the challenge was actually streamlining the set into a show that can be performed in just one night!
"There really is something for everyone, and we are having so much fun performing these huge songs around the country to audiences that are really into the music.”
Whether you lived through the original Mod era, love the sounds of the swinging sixties or simply enjoy a night of outstanding live music, The Ultimate Mod Revue is a chance to celebrate the songs that have stood the test of time.
The show comes to Mansfield on Thursday, November 12.
