Ryan Sweeney made up for his error for the Argyle opener with the equaliser just before half-time.
Here are our player ratings from the game . . .
1. LIAM ROBERTS 10
Simply magnificent and Man of the Match. Roberts pulled off two crucial first half saves at a point where Stags culd have buckled under at 1-0 down. Second half most shots were from distance but on a wet surface he judged them all magnificently as they swerved and bounced towards goal. Photo: Leila Coker
2. LUCAS AKINS 7
Gave his all for the first 50 minutes but, hacked from behind, he was unable to run it off and limped off just when he was starting to regain his best form for the club. Photo: Chris Holloway
3. DEJI OSHILAJA 8
A battling, combative display both in the heart of an over-worked defence and then pushed further forward as a defensive midfielder. Photo: Chris Holloway
4. RYAN SWEENEY 8
The Stags captain made one error and was punished as Plymouth scored from his loose pass. But was otherwise superb, heading everything and atoning for his mistake with the equaliser. Photo: Chris Holloway
