However, while Stags may have been disappointed not to secure another win, especially with the home advantage, they have added another all-important point to their tally to take them up to 53 in the League One table. Meanwhile, Albion still have work to do to get themselves in a more convincing position.
The priority for Nigel Clough and Stags is putting as much daylight between them and the bottom four as possible. Mansfield have extended their unbeaten run to eight games now and they are seven points clear of the danger zone, with time left to grow that margin.
Here are the Chad’s player ratings from Mansfield Town’s 0-0 draw with Burton Albion on Monday afternoon.

Up and down the pitch as usual to contribute at both ends but couldn't make anything happen going forward. Photo: UGC

6. Louis Reed - 5.5
Was good in midfield and did well to break up Albion play while trying to create chances for Stags but nothing materialised. Picked up a yellow card and was subbed off for the second half. Photo: UGC

7. George Abbott - 5.5
Worked hard as ever in midfield trying to make things happen and contributed defensively as well. Photo: UGC

8. Stephen McLaughlin - 5
Was on hand to clear danger when required of him but there were also moments where he struggled against his man. Came off early in the second half as Clough added Will Evans to the attack. Photo: UGC
