However, while Stags may have been disappointed not to secure another win, especially with the home advantage, they have added another all-important point to their tally to take them up to 53 in the League One table. Meanwhile, Albion still have work to do to get themselves in a more convincing position.
The priority for Nigel Clough and Stags is putting as much daylight between them and the bottom four as possible. Mansfield have extended their unbeaten run to eight games now and they are seven points clear of the danger zone, with time left to grow that margin.
Here are the Chad’s player ratings from Mansfield Town’s 0-0 draw with Burton Albion on Monday afternoon.

13. Jon Russell - 5
A way off his goal-scoring performance against Doncaster as he was brought on to spark some magic in the second half but did well to see out the game. Photo: UGC

14. Will Evans - 6
Tracked back a lot to help out defensively but his usual attacking presence was diluted due to playing out of his usual position, with Rhys Oates more the target man today. Photo: UGC

15. Rhys Oates - 6.5
Made the world of difference when he came on in the second half. Looked like causing trouble whenever he was on the ball and was a handful for the defence to deal with. Photo: UGC

16. Tyler Roberts - 5
Came on late in the second half to try and influence a win but couldn't make it happen. Photo: UGC
