Mansfield Town Ladies opponents for 2026/27 EMWRFL season confirmed, including Doncaster Rovers Belles

Mansfield Town Ladies have confirmed their opponents for the upcoming 2026/27 season in the East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League.

Andi Bell’s side finished third in the table last season with 26 points from 16 games, while rivals Chesterfield FC Women came out on top to clinch the title and earn promotion to the fourth tier.

Mansfield will be looking to push on in the league, having found success through their double Cup wins prior to the summer. Stags secured both the Nottinghamshire FA Women’s County Cup and the East Midlands Women's Regional League Cup to mark a fitting send-off for captain Monica Bowley.

The skipper has announced her retirement following a 12-year tenure with Mansfield and will be focusing on continuing to help grow the local women’s game.

As Mansfield Town prepare for another league season, they have confirmed those they will be competing against in the 2026/27 East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League season.

Historic women’s club Doncaster Rovers Belles will be a big opponent next campaign following their relegation from the FA Women’s National League. Donny Belles, who helped produce household names including Millie Bright and Sue Smith, will play in the fifth tier of the women’s football pyramid for the first time.

Stags’ local county rivals Nottingham Trent University and SJR Worksop will also be competing, as well as Lincolnshire teams Grimsby Town, Gainsborough Trinity Community FC, Stamford AFC and Lincoln WFC. Loughborough Foxes and Newport Pagnell Town make up the final two sides set to compete in the 2026/27 EMWRFL season.
