It was a very tough selection process with many players standing out around the league in the opening months of what is shaping up to be a captivating season.
They all staked their claim, for various reasons, for a spot in my starting 11, and a good claim they had been too.
But, after much thought, I have narrowed it down to my final 11 and come up with this team, based on a 4-2-3-1 formation.
I think it’s a pretty good team, a team with defensive solidity, plenty of fair, versatility and a good smattering of goals. I think it’s one that would most likely be able to challenge for a promotion place.
Of course, ask 100 people to pick a side and 100 different teams would be chosen. You guys will no doubt think differently to how I am seeing it, but have a look at this eleven and let me know what you think.

9. Rubin Colwill (Cardiff City)
Colwill has been an ever present for Cardiff City this season with his vision and physical presence making him highly influential for the Welshman this season. Colwill has shown plenty of flair and the desire to run with the ball and get Cardiff ticking. He's scored three goals and added three assists to his tally for the season. Photo: Getty Images

10. Amario Cozier-Duberry (Bolton Wanderers, on loan from Brighton)
Cozier-Duberry showed his value to Wanderers by being involved in all four of their goals in a recent 4-0 win over Port Vale. The 19 year-old right winger has looked a cut above for Wanderers this season, with six goals and six assists in 15 League One games this season. Cozier-Duberry is certainly destined for a career at a far higher level. Photo: Getty Images

11. Kyle Wootton (Stockport County)
Kyle Wootton is the epitomy of a target man, with his aerial ability and strength in holding the ball up giving Stockport the perfect springboard to launch attacks or relieve the pressure when under the cosh. Wotton has been a real handful to opponents this season and has six goals already in the bag this season to compliment the 'dirty' side of his game. Photo: Getty Images
