The Stags will maintain 21st place as the table will be decided on points per game.

Graham Coughlan's side held that position before football was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This makes Swindon Town champions with Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle also earning promotion.

Cheltenham Town, Northampton Town, Exeter City and Colchester United will compete in play-offs, which will begin on June 18.

Stevenage Borough currently look set to be relegated to the National League, although Macclesfield Town could still face a further points deduction.

It is yet to be decided how non-league's top tier will finalise their season.

An EFL statement read: "League Two Clubs have voted by an overwhelming majority to formally end the 2019-20 season.

"The division had previously indicated their preference for curtailment but following today’s Extraordinary General Meeting, Clubs were required to pass a resolution in accordance with Regulation 9A.

"As a result the final league standings have now been confirmed meaning that Swindon Town have been confirmed as Champions with Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle securing the second and third automatic promotion places to League One.
