Notts 101-4 (28)

Durham needed less than ten overs to pick up a bowling point, having lost the toss against Nottinghamshire on the first morning of their Specsavers County Championship match at Trent Bridge.

With Michael Lumb also falling in the session, the visitors will be the happier of the two sides, with Notts reaching lunch on 101 for four.

Steven Mullaney, captaining Notts for the first time in red ball cricket, had a life in just the second over of the match when Scott Borthwick spilled an edge off Graham Onions.

The reprieve was short-lived, with the batsman only making two before pulling Chris Rushworth to midwicket.

Jake Libby lost his off stump to the same bowler for 19 and, without further addition, the scoreboard read 27 for three with Greg Smith edging Onions to Paul Collingwood at first slip.

Lumb was also taken in the slip cordon, off James Weighell, for 22, after a stand of 66 with Brendan Taylor.
