All smiles for Fletcher on winning return to Harlow

The Mansfield cyclist beat a highly competitive field at the Portland College track to win the elite race for a second successive year.

It was Fletcher’s first mountain bike cross country win of the season.

He said: “All the best riders from the midlands come to race in a series that contains six rounds.

“I had good legs and rode hard from the start. I was able to get away straight after the start and have the form to stay away till the end.”

Fletcher will be hopeful he can continue his recent form in to the next round of the British series at Dalby Forest in Yorkshire.
