The Met Office has warned of more heavy rain predicted for Mansfield, as flood warnings, alerts and weather warnings remain in place for the River Trent and Nottinghamshire throughout the day.
On Monday, the national weather service said Storm Christoph will bring heavy rain, snow and strong winds as persistent heavy rain will lead to significant accumulations of rain which could lead to flooding in some areas.

Hide AdAn amber warning for rain has been issued for parts of northern, central and eastern England. Separate Yellow warnings for rain cover Northern Ireland, Wales, southern Scotland and the rest of England.
The warning area includes Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Wakefield, Lincoln, Nottingham, Leicester and Peterborough and is valid from 6am on Tuesday through to midday on Thursday.
Within the amber warning area rainfall accumulations could reach up to 200mm in parts of the southern Pennines and northern Peak District, 40-70mm could be seen more widely.
Heavy rainfall combined with some snowmelt across the hills is likely to lead to flooding across the county, said the Met Office, with homes and businesses are likely to be affected.

Hide AdFire service in Nottinghamshire has also issued a message to public following the arrival of Storm Christoph, saying that the people need to prepare for flooding and take necessary precautions.
According to the Met Office, the day in the East Midlands will start off mild, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle and heavy at times particularly over higher ground, with a maximum temperature of 11°C.
Tonight, winds are expected to ease for a time during the evening but remaining wet with further pulses of often heavy rain, and a minimum temperature of 2°C.
