Two taken to hospital after six-car crash in Kirkby

Two people were taken to hospital after a car crash involving six cars in Kirkby last night (Sunday).

The current condition of the male and female casualties is not known.

Police say eight people were hurt during the smash – which happened at the junction of Derby Road and Coxmoor Road at around 6.40pm.

They closed Coxmoor Road between Cauldwell Road and Kirkby Road, Ravenshead.
