Southwell play centre named the UK's second best, according to new research
Supernova Stay and Play in Southwell is the second best soft play centres in the UK according to Google reviews.
The centre on Crew Lane, Southwell, has an average rating of 4.98 stars from 113 reviews, none of them one-star.
The figures come from baby essentials and Moses basket experts at For Your Little One, who analysed the Google Maps listings for soft play and indoor play centres across the UK in October 2026.
One parent at Supernova Stay and Play wrote in September 2026: "There are many different role play areas but nothing feels cluttered or overwhelming."
Another wrote in September 2026: "I wish I had discovered this gem of a place earlier."
Dean Smith, director of For Your Little One, said: "Soft play is where a lot of families end up when the weather turns, especially with a baby or toddler in tow.
"Google reviews are the closest thing to asking another parent, because every one of them is somebody's real day out.
"Many of the best-rated places are smaller play centres made for babies and toddlers, and parents keep mentioning the little details. It's worth reading the most recent reviews before you go, checking whether there's a separate area for under-twos and somewhere to leave the pram, and booking ahead in the holidays."
