Nottinghamshire Police has a number of different types of volunteers who give their time to policing, ranging from Special Constables who play a key role in crime reduction, detection and incident response working alongside regular officers, to police support volunteers who assist in a number of roles throughout the service.

The force currently has more than 70 police support volunteers whose varied work includes administrative tasks, community liaison, Neighbourhood Watch and so much more. They bring a wide range of skills and experience that add huge value to the work of our trained police officers and staff.
