Eastwood salons are winners at England Hair and Beauty Awards

Westwick’s Hairdressers, on Nottingham Road, won the Recognised for Excellence Award in the Local Salon of the Year category, while The Nail Shack won the Outstanding Achievement Award in the Nail Salon of the Year category.

Kirsty Burrows, founder of The Nail Shack, said: “It honestly feels great, it’s so nice to get some recognition for the work that I do.”

And Claire Westwick, owner of Westwick’s said: “It was a real surprise, but a very nice one.

"I don’t really put myself forward for these things but it’s lovely people have done so and nominated me.”

The awards brought together some of the region’s most talented hairdressers, barbers, beauty therapists, salon owners and industry professionals, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham, on September 6.

Organised by Oceanic Awards, the prestigious event recognised businesses and individuals who continue to raise standards across the hair and beauty industry through exceptional service, creativity, innovation and dedication to their clients.
