9. Say hello to Lassie
Here is Lassie, a two year and two months old female Greyhound. A sweet girl, she came to Jerry Green after being retired from racing, with a few other greyhounds. She is definitely the most confident. Sometimes black greyhounds stick around at the shelter for a little longer, but it is hoped she will be the exception. She needs a loving home soon, with children aged 12 and above. She can be a teeny bit nervous of new people but comes round quickly especially if they have a bit of food. She needs a quiet home with a family of her own. She may be able to live with a dog of a similar size to play chase games, but is not suitable for a home with other small, furry animals.
She needs a secure garden, could be left for one to two hours, once settled. Greyhounds enjoy the couch potato life. To find out more about the home Lassie is looking for please visit https://www.jerrygreendogs.org.uk/adopt-a-dog Photo: Jerry Green Dog Rescue
Meet Teetee, a female four year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is a real bundle of joy and energy! A happy, sociable girl, she loves lots of attention. Teetee is looking for somebody who has experience with Staffordshire Bull Terriers, or similar breeds. She is a powerful dog who is very excitable, boisterous and bouncy so would be best suited to home with no small children. Teetee is good around other dogs, although she is much more interested in people. She could be re-homed with a male dog.
She cannot live with cats.

Here's Mack, a four years and six months old American Bulldog. He is described as a "sweet sensitive boy," looking for a forever home. He has never lived with children before but his friends at Jerry Green think he would be a perfect friend for children aged 14 years plus, after a meet at the centre to check compatibility. He needs owners who understand worried dogs, as he can be a little bit nervous around loud noises or things that he may have not noticed before. He is super friendly, loves the company of the people. He needs a home where he won't be left for any longer than two hours. This could be built up once he is settled in. He could even live with a suitable dog, it must be a confident similar type of dog, pending a successful introduction at the centre, although he would be happy to just have walking buddies. He needs a medium to large sized garden, secure with 6ft fence, so he can have fun running around with his toys. He also likes to sunbathe!o find out more about the home Mack is looking for please visit https://www.jerrygreendogs.org.uk/adopt-a-dog Photo: Jerry Green Dog rescue
Kiaro is a male, foour years and three months old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. An active boy, he is looking for somebody who has lots of time for him. He enjoys lots of love and attention from people, but does have a sensitive side to him meaning he can find some situations worrying. Kairo would best be suited to a home with no other pets so he can receive one to one training, but could potentially be re-homed with a steady, calm-natured female dog.
