Brave Mansfield girl cuts her hair for Little Princess Trust

Alicia Moss-Burton has decided to have her hair cut short and donated to the Little Princess Trust, who provide free human hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

The incredible 11-year-old is no stranger to the process, as she also braved the chop four years ago, again donating her long locks to the Little Princess Trust when she was just seven years old.

Her mum, Jenny Moss-Burton spoke of her pride at her daughter donating her hair again:

She said: “What she has done is amazing and she has helped two charities.

"She has made me extremely proud of her, especially as she chose to do it without any input from anyone.”

She asked friends and family to sponsor her via a JustGiving page, choosing to raise money for the MS Society, a cause close to her heart.

Her grandma lives with multiple sclerosis herself, and has been an active member of Mansfield and District MS Group for many years.

The charity provides support for local people living with MS, their families and carers, in Mansfield and the surrounding area.
