Recently there was the biggest demonstration in 15 years with more than 700,000 people taking to the streets of London to protest the Government's handling of Brexit and to demand a '˜people's vote'

People came from all over the country, with 150 coaches coming from towns and cities from all over the UK including as far as Cornwall and Orkney and Shetland.

Local campaigners from the Nottinghamshire area also turned out in force with coaches coming from Nottingham, Newark, Mansfield, Ashfield and Retford. This march showed again the massive strength of feeling across the country.

Public opinion has decisively shifted against Brexit, and that’s why more and more people are calling for the British public to have the final say on the Brexit deal with the option of stay as the only sensible way through this mess.

The people of Nottinghamshire have shown again that we reject this Government’s Brexit strategy and we are calling on all our local MPs to join our calls for a people’s vote.
