Three thugs kicked a boy off his scooter and stole it in Mansfield

A teenage boy has been left distraught after his birthday present of an electric scooter was stolen by three men

The boy was kicked off his scooter on Monday evening in Mansfield and now officers are appealing for information.

Detective Sergeant Mark Shaw is leading the investigation. He said: "The incident happened on Titchfield Park in Mansfield at around 8.30-9.30pm on Monday.

"We are appealing to anyone who may have seen the incident or seen the stolen scooter since.

"The scooter is quite valuable and was a birthday present from his mum only last month. It's described as a XIAMI M365 in black (pictured).

"Thankfully the victim suffered no injuries, but it would have been a scary experience.”

All three offenders are believed to be around 25-years-old.

The first has been described as around 6ft tall, skinny build, wearing a black baseball cap, grey joggers with KW on the side, a short leather coat and medium length dark hair.

Police have described the two other men as looking similar, potentially brothers or maybe twins. Both of the men were around 5ft 7in tall.

The second man was slim build, short ginger hair swept to one side, wearing blue jeans and a black jumper with Nike on the sleeves. The third man was wearing blue jeans and black jumper.
