Shocking images of a devastating Mansfield kitchen fire have been released by Nottinghamshire firefighters to warn against the dangers.

The pictures of a blackened kitchen were posted by Shirebrook Fire Station after they were called to a house in Church Warsop on Monday, December 7.

Crews from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the blaze at 1.24pm following reports of a fire.

No one was seriously injured in the fire according to firefighters, but a man was treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service for minor smoke inhalation.
