Jewellery stolen in Sutton house raid

Detectives are appealing for any motorists or passers-by who may have witnessed a house burglary on a busy main road in Sutton.

Police are hunting thieves who stole a quantity of jewellery after they broke into the house on Carsic Lane on Friday, February 7.

Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan said: "The suspects broke into the property through the front door, so it would have been very visible for anyone walking or driving past at the time.

"If anyone saw anything suspicious or any drivers, who might have dashcam footage that morning, please do get in touch."

The incident happened between 9.15am and 11.30am on Friday, February 7 at Carsic Lane in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
