Cash and illicit tobacco seized in raid on Sutton shop

Nottinghamshire Police’s Ashfield policing team said they assisted Nottinghamshire Council trading standards officers with the execution of the warrant.

A team spokesman said: “Cash, vapes that do not comply to regulations and illicit tobacco were seized.

"This isn't about stopping people getting cheap tobacco but a health concern. Unregulated vapes are shown to deliver unsafe levels of nicotine and tobacco to have more carcinogens then normal tobacco.”
