Charity needs support at 10K
Asda Foundation Nottingham10k is the first of its kind in Nottingham and will see hundreds of participants raising money for their partner charities as they run through the city centre. Starting and finishing in Old Market Square, the course will lead runners past the castle, through the lace market and along the banks of the Trent.
Framework, which supported over 11,000 people last year and provides accommodation and support to hundreds of people in the city every day, is looking for more runners and volunteers to join its team at the event, which starts on Sunday, May 15.

He urged others to sign up and kick start this new charity project: “I hope lots of people sign up for this new event and wish everyone who takes part the very best of luck.”
Community Fundraiser Harry Theaker, explained: “We’re delighted to be one of the partner charities for the first ever Nottingham10K. This will provide a real boost for our local services and help to raise awareness in the city. By challenging yourself to run this journey you will be helping us to support others on their journey away from homelessness.”
The charity has 30 FREE spaces available. It does, however, ask that runners raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 in return. To take part, email [email protected].
