Bus service will run until spring

Bus services between Alfreton and Eastwood have had their trial service extended until March next year.

Passengers on the Trent Barton rainbow 1 route can continue to have transport on evenings from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays.

The service was originally withdrawn in April 2011 but brought back after Derbyshire County Council and Nottinghamshire County Council agreed to jointly fund it.

The Monday to Saturday Alfreton to Eastwood service will run from 8.15pm until 11.15pm and from 7.45pm until 10.45pm in the opposite direction.

On Sundays the Alfreton to Eastwood service will run from 8.43am to 5.53pm and from 9.13am to 6.38pm in the opposite direction.
