Food hygiene inspectors visit Mansfield and Ashfield venues – including bingo hall, popular pub and Greggs branch
Food hygiene inspectors have been busy visiting pubs and takeaways across Mansfield and Ashfield – and even a charity, country park and bingo hall.
The results of their latest visits have now been posted on the Food Standards Agency’s website, which each business awarded a hygiene rating of zero, meaning urgent improvement necessary, through to five, very good.
Thankfully, the majority of venues secured a five-out-of-five rating.
Other ratings include: one, meaning major improvement is necessary; two, meaning some improvement is necessary; three, satisfactory; and four, good.

5. Apollo Bingo, Mansfield Leisure Park
The bingo hall was awarded a five-out-of-five, very good rating after assessment on February 22.

The takeaway was awarded a five-out-of-five food hygiene rating after an inspection on March 2.

7. Food Junction, Station Street, Mansfield Woodhouse
The new takeaway was awarded a top, five rating after assessment on March 1.

The branch of the national bakery chain was awarded a top, five rating after inspection on February 21.
