Food hygiene inspectors have been busy visiting pubs and takeaways across Mansfield and Ashfield – and even a charity, country park and bingo hall.

The results of their latest visits have now been posted on the Food Standards Agency’s website, which each business awarded a hygiene rating of zero, meaning urgent improvement necessary, through to five, very good.

Thankfully, the majority of venues secured a five-out-of-five rating.

Other ratings include: one, meaning major improvement is necessary; two, meaning some improvement is necessary; three, satisfactory; and four, good.
