Taste Of Honey at city venue

The People’s Theatre Company, Nottingham, completes its production of Shelagh Delaney’s A Taste Of Honey tonight (Friday).

The production has been at the Nottingham Arts Theatre, based on George Street, since Tuesday.

Directed by Jessica Mclean and produced by Colin Treliving, the performance starts at 7.30pm.

A Taste of Honey was Delaney’s first play, written when she was 18. It was initially intended as a novel, but she turned it into a play and it was later adapted into an award-winning film in 1961.
