Soap star does The Full Monty
Former soap star Gary Lucy is to lead the cast of a new stage production of hit British film The Full Monty, which will visit Nottingham’s Theatre Royal next year.
The story of six out-of-work Sheffield steelworkers took the world by storm when it was released in cinemas back in 1997.
Telling how they turn to stripping to make ends meet, this production will see the boys going ‘the Full Monty’ - live on stage!
Gary Lucy, known for his roles in EastEnders, Footballers’ Wives and The Bill, plays Gaz, while Andrew Dunn (Tony in Dinnerladies) is the former factory boss Gerald.
The production will of course feature the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.
