Stags manager Steve Evans believes the loss of top scorer Charlie Wyke in the January transfer window is the main reason why Saturday's visitors Carlisle United have seen their promotion bid stutter.

Wyke, who hit a hat-trick for the Cumbrians, in their 5-2 rout of Mansfield back in November, moved on to Bradford City in League One and now has 22 goals this season, four since the move.
