Stags cancel Blackburn friendly after cup draw

Mansfield Town's friendly at home to Blackburn Rovers, scheduled for Tuesday, July 26, has been cancelled.

Earlier today, the Stags were drawn at home to the EFL Championship club in the first round of the EFL Cup, to take place on either August 9 or 10.

In view of the cup draw, both clubs agreed to cancel the friendly match.

The Stags are hoping to arrange a friendly with another club on the aforementioned date.

Supporters who had purchased tickets for the Blackburn friendly are entitled to a full refund or can exchange their Blackburn ticket(s) for the prospective friendly on the same date if and when it is arranged.
