Mansfield Town supporters were smiling with relief after a first win in four for the Stags launched them back into the top three promotion places with a hard-earned 1-0 win over struggling Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday night.

A bumper crowd of 7,245 turned out to see Tom Nichols’ 20th minute header win a nervy game.
