I would like to thank everyone for helping me on the morning of Friday January 27.

I had to call 111 at seven in the morning, I can’t thank them enough, they were so calm and made me stay on the line until the paramedic came. He arrived within ten minutes and came whistling up my stairs, another calm and helpful chap.
He then sent for an ambulance.

Thank you to the ambulance crew who started treating me before we left my drive.

They were very reassuring and asked why I didn’t phone sooner as my problem started to happen at three in the morning. I told them I was trying to wait until eight when my doctor’s opened.

They took me to King’s Mill accident and emergency. It was very busy.

Again I could not fault my treatment. A big thank you to all the staff, doctors and nurses.

I promise if I need them again, I won’t wait.
