Wildfires continue as crews called to woods near Langwith

Firefighters were called to tackle a wildfire in woods near Shirebrook.

Crews from Shirebrook Fire Station said they were called to Scarcliffe Woods yesterday, July 21, at about 6.30pm.

It follows a huge amount of fires in recent days as a heatwave gripped the country, including in Warsop Windmill Woods and huge blaze at Blidworth.
