Lead thefts and car wheels being stolen are among the latest crimes across Mansfield district.

Here is the latest crime report from Nottinghamshire Police’s Mansfield district, covering the period from noon on Thursday, April 5, to noon on Thursday, April 12.

BERRY HILL
* Lead was stolen from the roof of a vacant property on High Oakham Drive after it was targeted overnight on Friday, April 6, and again overnight on Tuesday, April 10.

* On Sunday afternoon, April 8. a house on Rosemary Street was entered after a rear door was forced open. Medication and a mobile phone were taken.

* A Triumph motorcycle was stolen from the car park of a public house on Nottingham Road on Thursday evening, April 5.

BROOMHILL

* A flat in shared accommodation on Fairholme Drive was entered on an exact date not known. Cash was taken from a drawer in the property.

CHURCH WARSOP

* There was an attempt to enter a house on Netherfield Lane on Wednesday, April 11. Glass in the conservatory was broken but the house itself was not entered.

* In the early hours of Friday morning, April 6, the windscreen of a car parked on Tuxford Avenue was smashed.

EAKRING

* On Friday afternoon, April 6, a house on Maltby Road was broken into after the glass in the rear door was smashed. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

* On Friday evening, April 6, a male kicked the windscreen and the body of a car during an argument with the driver.

FOREST TOWN

* Overnight on Saturday, April 7, the passenger door of a car parked on Douglas Road was forced open and a number of items stolen, including the sat-nav, a radio, a torch and a watch.

* On Monday night, April 9, a garage on Arran Square was broken into after offenders forced open the door. A white mountain bike was stolen.

* A garage on Spinners Close was forced open on Monday night, April 9. It is not known if anything was taken.

* A car parked on Rannoch Drive was entered overnight on Monday, April 9, and the central console stolen. There was no sign of forced entry.

LEEMING

* There was an attempt to steal a car parked on Foxglove Grove in the early hours of Tuesday morning, April 10. The offender was scared off by the security light.

* A car parked on Leeming Lane North was broken into overnight on Monday, April 9, and sunglasses stolen, there was no sign of forced entry.

* In the early hours of Tuesday morning, April 10, cash and sunglasses were stolen from a car parked on Balmoral Close. The incident was recorded on CCTV.

* The windscreen of a car parked on Radbourne Street was smashed.

LINDHURST

* A shed on Southwell Road East was forced open overnight on Tuesday, April 10, and a number of low value items stolen.

* The fuel tanks of three cars parked on Bradmore Court were drilled in the early hours of Friday morning, April 6, and the fuel stolen from each vehicle.

PLEASLEY HILL

* A construction site on Woburn Lane was entered and cavity wall insulation stolen from a closed compound.

PORTLAND

* The window of a car parked on Victoria Street was smashed in the early hours of Friday morning, April 6, and the dash-cam stolen.

* The wheels and tyres from a car parked on Moor Street were stolen on Saturday morning, April 7.

* On Wednesday afternoon, April 11, intruders entered a house on Terrace Road through an unlocked door. They were scared off by the resident’s dogs.

* The side window of a car parked on Sandy Lane was smashed overnight on Wednesday, April 11, and the sat-nav stolen.

SHERWOOD

* Overnight on Friday, April 6, the wing mirror of a car parked on Wood Street was broken off and there were signs someone had climbed onto the bonnet.

* A beige BMW was stolen from outside an address on Rosemary Street on an exact date not known.

WARSOP BIRKLANDS

* On Saturday evening, April 7, a house on Sherwood Street was entered through an insecure patio door. Jewellery and cash were stolen from a bedroom.

* Overnight on Friday, April 6, a car parked on Mount Crescent was scratched extensively and the windscreen damaged.
