VIDEO: Motorcyclists churn up Notts golf course AGAIN
It has been reported that the bikes were driven onto the tenth green at Notts Golf Club, at Hollinwell, near Mansfield and Ashfield, as well as the farmers field next door, on Sunday, February 28.
Part of the fairway and bunker has been churned up by the motorbike wheels, leaving “ugly scars” according to club secretary, Martyn Bonner.

Hide AdHe said the club is yet to recover from a similar incident which left the twelfth green in a “much worse state” in January.
He said; “It’s just frustrating that they can’t keep off our property - it’s inconsiderate.
“The fact that it has been damaged again shows this is still a concern for us.”
The damages, which could cost tens of thousands to repair, are not expected to be ready until summer time.

Hide AdMartyn Bonner said the first incident left the staff “distraught” after “years of hard work” on the greens.
The club, which is in the top 100 in the country, has had to have extra security during summer championships over fears from previous similar incidents.
Bosses are also looking at installing CCTV around the course.
Police said they have increased patrols around the course since January, but have made no arrests so far.

“If they are found to be riding in that manner again, we have the power to seize their motorcycle.”
The police team has also been holding meetings with the golf club to assess the situation.
Anyone with information is urged to call them on 101.
