Popular Mansfield pub closes dorrs for refurb

The Golden Eagle pub off Southweel Road West in Mansfield has closed for a refurbishment.

Managers posted on their Facebook page this morning to alert customers it will be closed

The post said: "We are closed. Just for the week to have an update to our kitchen equipment and a freshen up in the restaurant. We will re-open at 12pm on Saturday 8th April.

"In the meantime, please keep our sister pub's in mind; The Burnt Stump and The White Post both serve the same menu and are open as normal."
