Hide AdMartyn Saxton, Mansfield District Council’s director for place and well-being, said: “There are events for all ages happening in Mansfield during half-term so it will be a great time for people to get together and enjoy some family time, try a new sport or soak up some culture.
“Instead of sitting at home with the kids, get out and enjoy what Mansfield has on offer.”
Among the events coming up during half-term will be:
Saturday May 28: Family fun day at Mansfield Market. As part of Love Your Local Market fortnight, there will be a world class Covent Garden entertainer, an escapologist called A J James, live performances and a Maypole dancing workshop.
There will also be free face painting and a chance to meet some furry friends from White Post Farm. Plus, pick up a quiz sheet from traders for your chance to win £20 to spend on Mansfield Market.
