A Mansfield man who knocked out his partner’s tooth when he swung a bag during an argument had loosened it when he punched her in the mouth six years earlier, a court was told.

Christopher Lee Baguley (35) of West Hill Drive appeared before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 24th July after causing actual bodily harm on his former partner.

The court was told that Tina Swift, of Nesbitt Street, Sutton, banged her mouth on furniture as she was knocked over by the force of the bag on 20th June, knocking out the tooth.
