£10 million hotel at Mansfield Town FC gets green light
The 100-bedroom hotel at the club’s One Call Stadium on Quarry Lane is going to be built between the Ian Greaves stand and Quarry Lane End.
Run by Hamptons by Hilton, a midrange hotel brand, there will be a view of the pitch at the stadium from some rooms, including the restaurant at the hotel.

It will cost an estimated £10 million pounds to build.
Carolyn Radford, Stags chief executive, previously speaking about the hotel said: “Everybody’s enthusiastic about this project.
“We have a fantastic brand, the best builders, architects and constructors we can find.
“It will be of real quality. It will be a unique destination for Mansfield.”

Over 25 jobs will be created once the hotel is built, which club bosses are hoping will be in 2020.
The club has said it sees “potential” for the number of jobs to increase for special events and if the hotel breaks into the conference market.
However, several conditions need to be met by the club before the hotel can be built, including that work will need to start at the hotel over the next year.

The council have also stated that there will need to be further plans into traffic management around and in the car park of the stadiums ground.
