Nottinghamshire housing site managers win quality awards
Site managers win top national awards for the quality of the homes being built in Notts
Site managers overseeing the construction of five housing developments in Nottinghamshire have won top national awards for the quality of the homes being built across the sites.

David Wilson Homes’ site managers, Liam Hathaway (48), Nathan Mannion (44), Jack Bailey (37), Dane Mumford (40) and Dave Dearden (44) have each won a Pride in the Job Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC), an award known as the ‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry.

In total, site managers working for David Wilson Homes’ parent company, Barratt Redrow, have won 122 Pride in the Job awards this year alone – more than any other housebuilder.
This is the 22nd year in a row that Barratt Redrow has won the most Pride in the Job awards, underlining just how important building high quality sustainable homes has been to the developer over the past two decades.
Dave Dearden, Senior Site Manager at Stonebridge Fields in Market Warsop, has added another NHBC accolade to his impressive record, reflecting the high standards and commitment he has demonstrated throughout his 28 years with David Wilson Homes.
Dave said: “This is my twelfth Pride in the Job Quality Award, and I’m extremely proud to have achieved this milestone. It reflects the consistent effort, teamwork and quality we strive to deliver every day.
“My thanks go to everyone on the site team for their dedication and hard work, and to our managers and directors for their unwavering support throughout.”
Nathan Mannion, Site Manager at The Hawthorns in Sutton, has added a fifth NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award to his name, recognising the high standards he has maintained throughout his 12 years with David Wilson Homes.
Reflecting on his achievement, Nathan said: “Receiving this award is a fantastic achievement for the entire team. We are always looking for ways to improve, raise our standards and maintain our commitment to construction excellence. Everyone involved takes immense pride in their work, and we share a common goal of building high-quality homes and ensuring our customers have the best possible experience.”
The awards recognise the very best site managers across the country, with thousands of inspections having taken place to determine the winners. Judging is rigorous, with assessment across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.ire.
