National Kidney Federation partners with Mansfield Town to launch clothing recycling initiative

The National Kidney Federation (NKF) has announced a new partnership with Mansfield Town Footwear & Clothing Ltd to launch a community clothing recycling initiative that will support people living with kidney disease while promoting sustainable recycling across the region.

The partnership will see dedicated clothing recycling banks installed at locations throughout the area, making it easy for local people to donate unwanted clothing, shoes, and textiles. Every donation will help raise vital funds to enable the NKF to continue providing essential services for kidney patients and their families.

Income generated through the initiative will support the charity's wide range of patient services, including its Freephone Helpline, Peer Support Service, patient information resources, and national campaigns to improve kidney care and raise awareness of kidney disease.

The first clothing banks are now ready to be installed at locations across the region, and the partners are inviting businesses, schools, community groups, places of worship, sports clubs, and other organisations to get involved by hosting a collection bank.
