June Open Gardens
A nationwide scheme aimed at helping inspire garden lovers will take place around Notts in June
The National Garden Scheme gives visitors a rare chance to step beyond the gate and experience the creativity, generosity, and passion of gardeners across the country. It is not just about beautiful flowers — it is about ideas shared, conversations over tea, discovering new plants, and enjoying peaceful moments outdoors with friends and family.

Whether you are looking for inspiration for your own garden, a relaxing afternoon in the countryside, or simply a chance to support wonderful nursing and health charities, June is the perfect time to explore gardens. Every visit helps make a difference, while celebrating the beauty and wellbeing that gardens bring into our lives.
Local events include 88 Church Street West (Pinxton) on Sunday 7 June, Hills Farm (Edingley) and The Old Vicarage, Halam, on Saturday 13 June, Hollinside (Kirkby) on Sun 14 June, Rhubarb Farm (Langwith) on 18th June and Park Farm, Southwell, on 27 June.
The National Garden Scheme gives visitors unique access to over 3,500 exceptional private gardens in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, and raises money for some of the UK's best-loved nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.
